Mugdha Pathak is an exquisite Indian artist, propagating the ancient and sacred art of 'KATHAK'. She is trained under the tutelage of Pandita Maneesha Sathe. Being an exceptional disciple since the beginning of her learning process, she gradually became well-versed in both performing as well as the aesthetic side of 'Kathak' dance form. Having the performing experience of more than 25+years, she has mastered her craft of Kathak with diligence and honesty. Nurturing core values have always presented her with many opportunities to perform worldwide and earn many praises, awards and accolades. Since last 12 years, Mugdha has been shaping up young minds to inspire them to explore each and every aspect of Kathak, through her academy 'MUGDHA NRITYALAYA'. Also, her dancing style is influenced by her extensive knowledge of Hindustani classical vocals. Her unique performing style reflects instinctive harmonically synced gestures and movements. She possesses a strong backbone in the theoretical part of 'Kathak', gained through bachelor's degree in performing arts from Lalit Kala Kendra and master's degree in Kathak from India's foremost music university, Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. She has garnered guidance and intricate from various Kathak exponents like Pt. Birju Maharaj, Pt. Rajendra Gangani.
